Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership and experience in driving revenue growth.

FIRST 3 MONTH TRAINING PERIOD:

Objective:
The primary focus during the training period is to ensure that the Sales Director is well-integrated into Moris Media’s culture, understands our service offerings, and can develop a strategic approach to achieve sales targets.

 

Training Activities:

  • Orientation and Company Integration:
    • Comprehensive onboarding to understand Moris Media’s mission, vision, values, and organizational structure.
    • Introduction to key team members and departments to foster collaboration and communication.
  • Product and Service Training:
    • In-depth training on Moris Media’s PR and digital marketing services, including case studies and success stories.
    • Understanding the unique selling points (USPs) of our offerings and how they meet client needs.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis:
    • Detailed overview of the PR and digital marketing landscape, including market trends and key competitors.
    • Identifying potential market segments and target clients.
  • Sales Process and Techniques:
    • Training on Moris Media’s sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Role-playing and simulations to refine sales pitches, negotiation tactics, and closing strategies.
  • CRM and Sales Tools Training:
    • Hands-on training with the CRM software and sales analytics tools used by Moris Media.
    • Setting up and managing sales pipelines, tracking progress, and reporting.
  • Shadowing and Mentorship:
    • Shadowing senior sales team members during client meetings, pitches, and negotiations.
    • Regular check-ins and mentorship sessions with the CEO and senior management.
  • Performance Evaluation:
    • Continuous feedback and performance evaluations to ensure alignment with company goals.
    • No sales targets during the training period, except for Salary Justification, which requires achieving numbers equivalent to 5 times the basic salary. Failure to meet this will result in no salary being received during the training period.

Note: This training period is designed to equip the Sales Director with the necessary knowledge, skills, and insights to drive Moris Media’s sales efforts effectively.

 

NEXT 3 MONTHS’ PROBATION PERIOD

 

Objective:

The probation period is designed to assess the Sales Director's ability to achieve business targets, adapt to the role, and integrate effectively within the organization, either as an individual contributor or as a team leader.

    • The Sales Director can choose to work individually or manage a sales team.
    • Flexibility allows the Sales Director to leverage their strengths and preferences to drive business growth.

    • Business Target:
      • Achieve business targets equivalent to 10 times the basic salary.
      • Focus on personal sales activities, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
    • Performance Metrics:
      • Monitor and report on individual sales performance, including lead conversion rates, client retention, and revenue achieved.
      • Regular performance reviews to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Salary Justification:
      • If the business target is not achieved, the Sales Director will receive 40% of their basic salary.
      • Achieving the target will make them eligible for incentives as per company policy.
    • Team Management Path:
      • Team Leadership:
        • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve collective business targets.
        • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and ensure the team is motivated and aligned with company objectives.
      • Business Target:
        • Collaborate with the team to achieve business targets equivalent to 10 times the basic salary.
        • Develop and implement team strategies to maximize sales performance.
      • Performance Metrics:
        • Monitor and report on team performance, including individual contributions, team dynamics, and overall sales results.
        • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
      • Salary Justification and Incentives:
        • Achieving the business target as a team leader will qualify for incentives as per company policy.
      • Sales Strategy and Execution:
        • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing client relationships.
        • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
        • Customize sales approaches to meet client needs and preferences, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
      • Client Relationship Management:
        • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
        • Ensure consistent communication and follow-up to nurture long-term partnerships.
        • Address client concerns and feedback promptly to maintain a high standard of service.
      • Collaboration and Coordination:
        • Work closely with the marketing and PR teams to align sales initiatives with overall business goals.

  • Successful completion of the probation period will confirm the Sales Director’s position, with eligibility for full salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve business targets and contribute to Moris Media’s growth will pave the way for career advancement and additional responsibilities.

Salary:

The salary is negotiable depending on relevant experience and abilities and will be communicated during the final selection rounds. Salary will be at par with industry standards.

Job Location: Moris Media offers a flexible, hybrid work model. While the position is currently remote, employees have the autonomy to structure their work hours based on their location. The company will reimburse any travel expenses incurred for work-related purposes.
